His earlier work with Xenotec and OcuScience shaped Evoq’s core thesis: high-integrity visual diagnostics should not require dedicated dark rooms or bulky desktop platforms.

As Chief Innovation Officer, Daniel stewards the company’s patented smartphone-based electrophysiology architecture and the product roadmap spanning Smart ERG and the Twilight Dark Adaptometer.

He continues to partner with research sites and key opinion leaders to validate recovery kinetics, stimulus protocols, and cloud analytics that support both clinical care and investigative use cases.

Emanuel Munteanu leads EVOQ’s technology development, bringing together expertise across electronics, embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, and mobile applications.

With more than 20 years of engineering experience spanning MedTech, telecommunications, software, and product development, Emanuel has architected and built EVOQ’s technology platform from the ground up, taking products from electronic design and embedded systems through cloud infrastructure and clinician-facing applications.

He contributes to EVOQ’s technology direction and product strategy, driving the continued development of its medical platform and translating complex engineering challenges into scalable clinical solutions.

Kasia Hein-Peters, MD, Chief Executive Officer of EVOQ Technologies, is leading commercial growth, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and the expansion of EVOQ functional retinal diagnostics platform.

A physician executive with 30 years of global leadership in life-sciences, she has held senior roles at Eli Lilly, Merck, Novartis, Sanofi, and Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies.

Her commercial leadership includes the global launches that generated $2 billion in sales and higher revenue than comparable products in the same classes and markets. She brings deep expertise in translating technical innovations into scalable patient impact and economic value for the clinical practices.

William Sherman leads quality management and risk controls across Evoq’s design, manufacturing, and post-market processes. He builds the documentation and surveillance frameworks that support FDA Class I medical device registrations for the SightGard platform.

His remit includes design controls, supplier quality, complaint handling, and risk analysis aligned to portable diagnostic use in clinical environments.

William partners with engineering and executive leadership to keep regulatory readiness paced with product iteration—so innovation ships with auditable evidence and patient-safety accountability.
